Podcast Guest Terms

Effective January 1, 2024

Before participating as a guest on our show, please carefully read the following terms and conditions. By clicking "I Agree" at the bottom of this page, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Grant of Rights
By agreeing to appear on the Podcast, you grant Joey Tackett/Hey Joey Studio LLC ("Producer") the full and complete right to use, edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute, and otherwise exploit your appearance, performance, voice, name, biography, and likeness in connection with the Podcast. This grant of rights applies to the entire universe, in perpetuity, in any language, and in any and all media now known or hereafter devised.

2. Editing and Distribution
You understand and agree that the Producer has complete creative control over the Podcast and may edit, cut, rearrange, add to, or delete from any part of your appearance as the Producer sees fit. The Producer has the right to distribute the Podcast through any medium now known or hereafter devised.

3. Compensation
Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, you acknowledge that the opportunity to appear on the Podcast is sufficient consideration for this agreement, and you will receive no monetary compensation.

4. Ownership
You acknowledge that the Producer will be the sole owner of all rights in and to the Podcast, including the portions that incorporate your appearance.

5. Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that you have the full right and authority to enter into this agreement and to grant the rights granted herein. You further warrant that your appearance and statements on the Podcast will not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

6. Release
You release the Producer from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action which you may have now or in the future for invasion of privacy, defamation, or any other cause of action arising out of the production, distribution, broadcast, or exhibition of the Podcast.

7. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California.

8. Electronic Acceptance
By clicking "I Agree," you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions set forth above. You agree that your electronic acceptance of this agreement shall have the same legal effect as if you had physically signed the document.
